I make homemade buttermilk waffles aleast once a week. They taste 1000 times better than the flimsy store bought ones and healthier too. I use whole-wheat pastry flour, which adds fiber and has a wonderfully subtle nutty flavor. This recipe is one I've tweaked over the years and is virtually fool-proof.
